Biosynthesis of selenium nanoparticles using plant extracts

Abstract Selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) have the potential to be used for various applications. Therefore, they attracted more attention in recent years and several synthesis methods been exploited. Green using plant extracts has gained popularity because it requires non-toxic solvents moderate temperatures. Furthermore, is environmentally friendly uses a reducing agent that easily accessible biodegradable. In this review, we present reports concerning capability of different materials biosynthesis selenium nanoparticles. The conditions (temperature, time, precursor, extract concentration) are discussed combination with characteristics obtained product (composition, size, shape, stability). application synthesized was briefly presented.
